I tried to get shots of the wheel wells and rockers to show just how clean this body really is. The paint is a bit faded, ut it's the original coat- no resprays in its history. No rust at all and very little scratches or dents. Toss your board in the back, r take it out for a weekend of camping this van won't let you down.
Vans are making a comeback and it's about time! They are so practical and so cool at the same time. Truly a gem and quite possibly the nicest classic full-size van left from this era. The family kept the emblems and the rear bench seats for memory sake, ut everything else is as the original owner left it. She sat next to a corvette and was maintained and serviced by the original owner from 1977 until 2014 when he passed away. This van lived the pampered life on the peninsula where it was lovingly cared for all its life by an enthusiast.
1977 Dodge Sportsman with low miles (73376). My loss is your gain, his old girl is a real gem!NO RESERVE AUCTION - this van will sell to the highest bidder. I bought the van from the original owner to use as a surf van / weekend camper and loved it so much that I decided to purchase a new Mercedes Sprinter Van that is better suited to the long trips I take than this old Sportsman. This van was parked in the same garage since brand new up until this year.
